Why can’t I fully refill my SMACO mini scuba tank using a normal scuba tank?

If your SMACO mini scuba tank doesn’t fill up completely when using a standard scuba tank, it’s likely due to a pressure imbalance. To successfully transfer air from one tank to another, the source tank must have a higher pressure than the receiving tank (ideally over 3000 PSI / 200 Bar).

Key Reasons Why This May Happen:
1. Low Pressure in Donor Tank: The standard scuba tank may not have enough remaining pressure (it must be higher than 3000 PSI / 200 Bar) to fully fill the SMACO tank.

2. Improper Adapter Connection: Double-check that the refill adapter is securely and correctly connected to prevent leaks.

Tips for Proper Refilling:
1. Use a donor tank with pressure significantly higher than 3000 PSI (200 Bar).

2. Open the valves slowly to prevent sudden surges or leaks.

If you continue experiencing difficulties, don’t hesitate to get in touch with SMACO customer support for personalized assistance.
